Interesting interview with Chris Grant today. States we have factored particular list needs into our ranking process.
Darcy Fogarty please. BF are now saying Collingwood are doing final due diligence on JS which would leave Fogarty to us - seems Clark / Coffield to the Saints is a done deal.

That was pleasantly surprising to hear him say we have a few needs and we will address them early on (9 & 16). I wonder what Dal thinks our needs are and who addresses them.

I can't wait until about 7.30 to hear both and then who the smokey is a bit later on.

Fogarty at 9 & Murphy at 16. We'd be making out like bandits with a smoky at 79 as a bonus.

I've found it hard to imagine that D.Fogarty would be a possibility for us, but he is starting to shape up. Does appeal as a perfect Stringer replacement, let's just hope there is a bit more between the ears....

Really depends on who Collingwood select. Rumour mill have them taking one of the mids that slide (Cerra), Fogarty or JS if he passes a medical.

We also don't know what StKilda will do. Everyone has them locked into Coffield and Clark, but that is on the assumption that Fogarty is gone. Apparently they have put a lot of work into JS, so Coffield and Clark aren't complete locks for them.

Twomey tweeted that if Stephenson doesn't go to Collingwood at, that he could still be available at pick 22.

As far as we are concerned, surely if he's there at 16 we take him.

I'd be very happy with Naughton.

As a huge dogs fan, how will coffield feel tonight. Would he be more disappointed saints taking him at 8, or dogs passing him at 9?
He seems a good fit, so I have fingers crossed.
I will never see #16 the same!!

The same "sauce" gave me the Bont as a lock and that turned out ok. And I think 9 of the top 10 a few years ago

Looking back to a screen shot of a spreadsheet BAD put up a few pages ago. The majority of phantom draft ‘experts’ have us with Naughton & Murphy.

                          Is Dal that predictable now?

He seems to +/- Pick 20 on most phantoms. Perhaps 16.

                                Knightmare has him at 19:

19 Gold Coast - Charlie Ballard
                                Height, Weight: 196cm, 82kg
Profile: Late-blooming, tall wingman with scope to develop into a key forward. Possess good skills, composure, mobility and is a strong overhead mark.
