    I think this means for us could be either Smith or Ben King.

      Any concern though that Adelaide rate Smith after Caldwell and take him after GWS take Caldwell?
      If Adelaide are keen on Caldwell maybe deal with them with the spectre of GWS looming if they dont.

          They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

            We could be trying to create an auction like environment if they both really want Caldwell.

            If Adelaide want to be stupid they could look at 7 & 27 - for - 8, 16 & 63 or something like that. But they'd be stupid or stupid on love with Caldwell.

                After Night 1 there are still plenty of fantastic players to choose from and we have 3 picks in the next 20. A great position to be in.

                Still on the board;

                Hill, Valente, Taylor, Briggs, McKenzie, Sparrow, Kositchke, McLennan, Stack, Turner, Kennerley, Williams, Bowman, Gown et al

                Twomey has linked us to Turner and Reynolds as possible selections

                  Reports this morning that a player had a medical certificate keeping him in Melbourne
                  Sounds like it might have been Bailey , hence why the club knew by trading down we’d still get him.

                    Through his interview he sounded like he had genuinely accepted that there was a strong possibility he’d be moving interstate, but I guess that could be bs.

                    I have never heard of anyone getting a doctors note to not be drafted interstate. What grounds would a medical certificate be written to allow a player to stay? Mental health?

                      Plus he has to travel for interstate games.

                        It’s interesting . Remember way back in the early 90’s might have been James Cook wrote to clubs saying he wouldn’t go there

                            Is it Bailey Williams who looks like a promising ruck forward (dodgy kicking for goal)? Does anyone think he is on our radar? If English or Trengrove are injured and presuming Boyd plays mainly forward this could be a need. Also having 4 Baileys is surely better than 3.

                              A quick question and sorry if it’s been asked before; if a bid comes soon for Rhylre do we have to use our next available pick (currently 30) to get him ? Even though 35 may have enough points?

                                Haven't seen much of them but I'd be happy with Sparrow or Stack.
