Yep. The last article on AFEL.com.au had him going at least top 5. Say we play finals next year and have a pick 11-18 as a notional first rounder next year. But we actually get pick 1-5. Huge result for us.

I've heard his mum told him to clean his room last week but it STILL hasn't been done.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Has 17 goals from 6 games as an underager.

Good chance he'd be the best KPF available in this years' draft, let alone what he'll do with another 12 months of development.

We're going to be in deficit in 2021 for sure.

I posted the other day, as I can see, the last person to average nearly 3 goals in 6+ games as an underage player was Tom Boyd.

I just had a quick glance at the points chart, if we have (for argument sake) picks around 15, 33, 51, 69 next year (losing in week three of finals), then we are about 500 points down if MacPherson goes around pick 30. So we need to grab a couple of late 3rd/early 4th picks for next year and we can avoid deficit. An article last week said clubs don't rate this picks next year so we might be well situated to get them.

The list management issue I see is all 6 picks (getting 2 above) are all going to JUH & MacPherson. So our first live pick is 87. I don't see us taking 2-3 players from then on. It might even be a rookie upgrade with La Young. So next year to me looks like the bare minimal changes. So we might need to trim harder this year, to go easier next year.

JUH is certainly going to make Sam Power's job a little harder.

Which is I guess why we have entrusted Sam who is obviously an intelligent guy to look after the managing list.. We pay him to work through all the conotations and ensure we can add players the players we need to.

What’s his tank like ? Is he a repeat lead player ? Can he chase and put pressure on the opposition?
Is he a serious trainer ?
Goals in lower grades you get away with but if you aren’t doing this stuff you won’t get on a list.
Talent is a given but wanting it and giving it your all is the main thing.

There are absolutely no worries here. Good on all fronts.

Don't you mean he's lazy, doesn't pressure and spits in the coaches face when he's told to correct any behaviour issues?

Ryan O’Keefe coaches the Western Jets and was on the Trends podcast this week. He was asked which of his players should we be looking out for at draft time and after referring to a few kids who played Nationals, he specifically named Josh Kellett and made mention of his high footy IQ & skills on both sides.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Nah. I'm basking in the fun of getting the highest bid-on NGA kid ever. And denying St Kilda, Carlton, Melbourne et al the gun KPP they'll desperately want next year. We win, and, they lose. It's a truly wonderful thing.

It would make a lot of sense to trade/draft in some Indigenous players this year so they're entrenched in the club when JUH arrives. Jack Martin high on the list and I know people are in to Tippa as well........... might cost to much to pry him away from the bombers.....I also notice there's some good looking dynamic small forward types in the draft too....
