The fighting is more to the point of how clubs have got other good players in the past and the suggestion they did nothing towards developing them. Hence the AFL wanting to change Academy rules because in the past clubs have exploited the program.
So I was wondering if we are like other clubs or we do develop the players in our Academy.
If we do and the AFL decide to change the rules that affect us we would have more ammunition to fight for our player.
So not so much on how many points it will cost us but more on if the rules change how much right we have to that player.
I hope that makes sense it's sometime hard conveying your thoughts to text.

I can see us trading next years first round pick in this years trade period if there is high confidence at the club that JUH is a great prospect and will land with us.

AFEL has said its reviewing only the discount rate of father/son and NGAs of 20%, maybe up or maybe down. But any change would be from 2021 after our mega draft of 2020 (JUH, Stevens, MacPherson, Raak).

        Good news.

          Yes good news indeed.

          Callum Twoomey on AFL.com.au quoting
Any change would be some way from being introduced, however, with the AFL mindful that with clubs able to trade future draft picks for next year, it couldn't change the rules for 2020. Any change would be implemented for 2021.

Trade hard this year, because the very-to-mega talented kids are taking up all our picks next year. Good times ahead.

So we go into massive points debt?

No. We can draft points trade out of it. In my early list management thread I detailed how can avoid a deficit.

I happened to fall on his Facebook page by reading about him on an AFL page and I notice Willie Rioli was commenting on him 2 years ago, guess I ended up trawling his page and I must say it’s quite impressive.

                            The following is interesting.

                            Adeladie’s 2019 nominees for MVP.

MVP: Brad Crouch, Rory Sloane, Alex Keath

                            Most Courageous: Alex Keath

                            Captain: Rory Sloane, Taylor Walker

As expected, Jamarra is lining up at CHF in the Grand Final. Saturday at 1.05pm.

Draft Central's Review of GF players:

                              #25 Jamarra UGLE-HAGAN

His name has been one on the lips of plenty of draft watchers over the past month with consistency finally creeping into his game. After a quiet start to the year, Ugle-Hagan returned to the team for a couple of weeks mid-season during the school holidays, and then again from Round 17 onwards, booting a massive 23 goals in his past six games. He has gone from likely first round selection to probable top five pick. His speed off the mark and clean hands are terrific, and if he can clean up some of his set shot attempts, then he could be looking at six-goal hauls most weeks.

NAB League GF day is here. Now that it’s confirmed there will be no changes to NGA next year, I hope Marra lights it up and the hype train just rolls on.

Chargers are absolutely stocked with top end midfield talent so with the likely top 2 picks this year in Anderson & Rowell, plus an absolute underage jet in Phillips, so Marra should have plenty of opportunities.
