Re: Future Priority Access Thread (Inc. Father/Son, Academy Players)
Champs were due to start yesterday with Metro taking on the Allies team. That was postponed due to Covid travel restrictions so an U19 Challenge match is being played today between Metro & Country at 12pm.
Darcy and Raak are playing for Metro and it will be live streamed via the AFL website.

Raak is terrific with ball in hand. Good user and good size.

Uninspiring game, Metro by 10 goals:
Darcy 2 Goals with poor I50’s to him. Good marks, good finishes and rucked I50.
Raak was solid with most play not in his D50. A lot of sloppy use by most highlighted his great disposal. Works hard too.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

Re: Future Priority Access Thread (Inc. Father/Son, Academy Players)
Could very much be. An example. In 2013, Harris Andrews was the leading goal kicker in the NEAFL under 18 competition, with 80 goals in 17 games. Now one of the best full backs in the AFL. I heard one of the commentators say Darcy reminds him of Andrews.Comment
