Just need a few years since they were at GWS.
Collingwood cleansed him of their orange putrid stench.
Also it helps they are paying for his salary.

We have English to play his exact role and TBH I prefer English as up the field English is a far better kick.

Given the trade & contract capital Lobb would cost, I'd rather look elsewhere.

I still want us to get a first ruck at trade period and KPD cover, then prioritise retention.
      Great point Mofra .

Why would we want someone who is not number one in either position, with massive salary of 700 K ? Where we have English in the same level but with more upside ?

Its like having 2 players in the team not good at either.

Why do you want Jones? Tell me more.

Hard working natural small pressure forward.

This year averaging nearly 9 disposals, 2 Marks, 2 I50’s, 1 goal, .5 Goal Assists, 4 tackles etc. etc.

Ballarat boy. Footscray VFL boy until WCE grabbed him. Another good indigenous person and player. Now experienced at Geelong & West Coast.

Free Agent. Our last spot on the list effectively. I think it’s a no brainer.

            Thanks for that.

Does seem a type we don't have and could use. And free.

What is you best guess of the number of spots we will have open/available above the mandatory 3 for draftees?

Too hard to tell exactly. More based on how many live picks we have towards Darcy. Which depends on deficit forecasting. Then how many trade out. I’d like to trade/bring three in. Plus rookie elevations count. The PL to RL happens after the ND, unlike last year. Not clear if the relaxation of no picks to list spots is staying loose or tightening up. A heap going on. Plus maybe a player or two retires if we win this week, might stay/ask to stay also. It’s going to be interesting and complicated the next month to 10 weeks.

                Bruce as well

Perhaps one step removed is worthwhile, but I still don't want Lobb.

Tom Boyd only had 1year there before our rescue mission.

How demented a place must GWS be if you need Collingwood as a cleansing agent to wash yourself of it?
                  TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Good point. But he was out before the bad blood started.

                      Marchbank is available from Carlton.
Kid can play, but Tom Williams feels sorry for him (injuries).

Part of me want to rookie him to complete the Griffen/Boyd deal, as he was the pick 6 that GWS gained as part of that deal.

I really like Marchbank but there's a not zero chance that he's been completely ruined. These are significant injuries he's looking to come back from.

I'm down but I'd want it to be free or free-adjacent.

Neither of those players were in the nasty vicious sniping pack we know and hate. I guess it's the GWS players from that era I don't think we can welcome through the doors at the kennel.

                            What has kept Marchbank out?

                            I'd be pretty interested.
