Just a question to all, who kicks the 50 goals Bruce did this year? Not an easy spot to fill. Can Schahce put it together for a full season? How many times have we seen a role player step up for finals but fail over the course of the year?

I think English as a permanent forward can kick 30 goals for sure, I'm a little more bullish about him than most forward of centre.
If English can kick 30, and Weightman 35, plus Naughton can nail some of those 40 behinds he kicked (yes he had 87 shots), then we can cover Bruce.

For me Schache hasn't proven anything yet.

Does anyone have a soft spot for Holman from the GC? Anytime that club wins he plays well but struggles to stay in their best 22.

Not a world-beater but has speed and aggression that would impact a final probably plays the Hannan role though? I noticed on BF we were linked he and Budarick I like both.

        Well spotted.

For me I was a very undersized ruckman or CHB/CHF in a very ordinary country comp.

Being competitive was the total limit of my ability.

Dare I say it, a Zaine Cordy type?

I do, but thats more to do with him being a KY boy and my daughter and his sister being friends.

Not sure he's what we need though.

Actually he had 98 shots for 47.40. Would like to see him kick a few more in general play as well, there's no reason he shouldn't with his speed and agility.

                  I like him too.

In a good side, I could see him being valuable. Hard nut.

                    I did say undersized.

I probably made up for lack of height with a bit of a leap and a determination. It was also before all the stupid ruck rules that now prevent you getting between your opponent and the ball.

How’s this for an idea …

Lipinski and future third round for Darcy Moore and we’ll pay Treloar’s salary for the remaining years of his contract?

Still a long way short of Zaine and my kicking was worse than his.

Graham Wright isn't Ned Guy, so unless he's drunk during trade week there's more chance of of Tim English becoming a world champion UFC fighter than that happening.

I rate Darcy Moore in the top few for best FB in the AFL. No way would Collingwood want to let him go.

Collingwood have major salary cap issues, Moore is in $800K a year (reportedly) and comes out of contract next year. Taking Moore and Treloar out of their cap, allows a lot of room for them to go hard

Why on earth would they offload one of their best players who is only 25 and young enough to still be there when they would be aiming at returning to the pointy end of the ladder?

I'm sure they can juggle their cap and let lesser players like Cox go. Even Grundy would make more sense, Moore is probably the last player they would want to lose.
