He looks insanely good. His goal sense is superb but can he go into the midfield?

Long term I think Sanders is the best bet.... I think.

    It's such an interesting draft.
Duursma: Playing forward in the early years would be his best position. In time midfield is a real option.
Watson: He's a Tom Papley like small forward and it's not an easy position to fill. I don't really see him as a midfielder but could be wrong.
Sanders: Looks like a pure midfielder.

We have needs in both areas and will have to settle for covering just one of them but it's a difficult choice if by some miracle all 3 were available

Zero Hangar has North taking Curtin and Duursma.

That means Hawks would get McKercher and we could choose bw Watson and Sanders.

Curtin just makes sense for North to select. I'd go with McKercher over Duursma but North are reasonably deep for mids so perhaps a forward makes more sense.

Surely Hawks jump all over him if he falls. Pretty sure they were super keen on him until North got the McKay compensation

They should but this is the most open draft being speculated on that I can recall.

With the rarity of a high pick it seems hard to go past a dominant mid. Sanders as a pure mid. has better stats. than McKercher.
Dursma and Curtain are both tremendously attractive options, but not (yet) as obviously dominant in the midfield. I think both will be gone before us which might make McKercher an option.

Using such a rare high pick on a forward flanker seems riskier. But again Watson is a rare talent in that role.

I'm confused and glad we pay Power the big bucks. Mind you he can't go wrong.

Yep fingers crossed Lual gets to the dogs. A great personal story.

100%. I don't mind if any team snaps him up early because the rate him but if he goes just a few picks before pick 40 that team will make 'the list'

I've been on board for a genuine 'ready to go' midfielder and that's why i'm all in for 'The Colonel'.

I prefer Larry as in Larry Sanders from The Garry Shandling Show. I don't like the idea of whole KFC thing
