I agree with you.

And then I start thinking of our KPB Keath, Gardner (IMO past it, borderline/depth) and L.Jones (brilliant but how long before he starts showing his age/becomes injury prone) and JoD (really promising), and Buss (unknown if he will be ok in seniors).

It really showed how poor our KPB are when Jones was injured. Hopefully Coffield can remain fit and help in this regard, although I understand he is more of an intercepting type.

Really need for Cleary &/or Gallagher to take Duryea spot too before end of 2024.

An astute pick up Josie. I did think of it and raised the matter in another thread when discussing Dan Curtin and who would be our alpha key defender when Jones and Keath are gone in the next year or two.

I have also raised the idea of drafting Will Dawson a 200cm KD/Ruck several months ago to have a young KPD to develop.

I'd be very happy if we went this way for sure. However I just felt we need to address our long neglected forward lines as a greater priority.

The extended version is on the dogs website and includes another highlight (not sure if it's the same one you're talking about). I can't believe that they didn't include Sanders' running goal from the centre bounce!
