We officially kick start the draft on Monday the 3rd of November at 7.30pm however, once we have all teams covered by recruiting managers, the players can start to be selected.
Some rules and tips to keep everything in order.
- Whoever has Melbourne and Richmond etc can start naming their players beforehand. Obviously this has to be in the correct order.
- To keep this moving, name your selection when it's your turn and post it straight away.
You can then write up a brief (or not so brief) reason why you selected that player in a separate post within this thread. By just naming the player in the first instance this will really speed up the process.
- There is plenty of mock and phantom drafts posted around the internet so by all means use these resources if needed. Bigfooty and AFL.com.au have plenty of draft information that you can use.
- Where possible try and share your selections with another WOOF member who could name your selection just in case you are not around.
- This won't be a quick process so be patient.
- At the end of the draft, collate you selections and provide an overview from your nominated clubs perspectives. (Please no "Scott Claytonism's" about drafting someone who would have gone top 20 the following year
)
- It's four rounds so pace yourselves.
A word of warning - Sockeye Salmon is notorious for selecting players just to PO other recruiting managers, be careful with what information you share with him
A the end of the draft, I'll copy the selections reason onto another thread as a draft summary.
Enjoy.
