Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
Pick 37 - Travis Colyer
Another speedy runner will complement North's blue collar midfield nicely. Despite being very small, Colyer can learn the caper from one of the best in the business, Brent Harvey. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
Pick 40 - James Craig (North Adelaide, SA)
Height: 196cm, Weight: 91kg, DOB: 18/04/91
Ruckman/key position
Hopefully he can grow a couple more cm's so he can play ruck, has a good leap on him though and was the best ruckman in the u18 championships.Last edited by Missing Dog; 03-11-2009, 07:34 PM.Comment

Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
Pick 41 - Nat Fyfe
To be honest, I was happy to pick him up with North's previous selection so I'm happy he's available here.
An exciting mid sized forward who reads the ball well and is strong overhead. If Tarrant and Griffith can develop, Fyfe will slip in nicely as a third tall at AFL level. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
Pick 42 - Ryan Harwood (Tassie Mariners, TAS)
Height: 184cm, Weight: 79kg, DOB: 08/07/91
Mid/HBF
Another tassie boy who plays a bit all over but could develop into a quality inside mid.Comment

Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
I think it could generate some interesting discussion as to which players may or may not be drafted, what to do with late picks (fringe player/lots of upside), how many picks each side will make etc.
Looks like we have a few on ATM so I would like to keep goingIf you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Re: WOOF - Official Phantom Draft #1 (4 Rounds)
Vic Country captain, member of the Under 18 All Australian Team and joint winner of the Larke medal for best player at the Under 18 National Championships. Has shown great determination and attitude to succeed despite his physical limitations. Carlton showed interest at draft camp and I think would be happy to get him at this pick
Andrew Hooper (North Ballarat Rebels, VIC)
Height: 172cm, Weight: 78kg, DOB: 18/01/91
Recruited from: Golden Point
Strongly-built midfielder/defender, Hooper ticks plenty of boxes, but his final position will depend on where clubs think he will fit best.
Draft range: 20-rookieIf you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
