Re: WOOF - 2011 Official Phantom Draft (3 Rounds)
Ok, I'll do it.
Pick 38 - Hawthorn - Henry Schade (North Hobart)
Height: 197cm Weight: 80kg Age: 17
Tall defender
Tall defender that possesses a reasonable defensive game and gives good run. He’s a very good long kick and has good decision making skills. He’s a ok mark and is good below his knees. He’s very good one on one, I haven’t seen many goals kicked on him. Reads the play pretty well. He’s agile and has good closing speed. Can play on talls and mediums. He’s very good offensively and gives good rebound. Will need time to put on size and bulk. Has a lot of potential, but does need to improve his concentration levels and needs to back himself to take more marks.
Why - Hawthorns biggest weakness is tall defenders. Schade fits Hawthorns structure and needs extremely well.Comment

Re: WOOF - 2011 Official Phantom Draft (3 Rounds)
Pick #39 - Western Bulldogs - Jordan Murdoch
190cm forward
Thumping kick with plenty of pace and skills. Performed strongly in the state draft combine and set an impressive time of 2.76 for the 20mtr sprint.
I know most people would want speedy midfielders but I say focus on that next year in the super draft where we have an extra first round pick.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Pick 41 - Adelaide Crows - Alex Woodward 175cm 80kgs
Small inside midfielder who should compliment their current stocks. On the small side, but could become a good inside player who can accumulate a bit of the ball.Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?Comment

He's gonePick 41 - Adelaide Crows - Henry Schade 196cm 80kgs
Tall player who needs to add some weight to his frame and improve his running ability. Projects as a rangy type who fills a need for the Crows who have lost a few tall defenders in the last 2 trade periods to the expansion sides.
chosen by Hawthorn at pick 38
I'll give Griff a chance to rectify his pick before nominating someone with Swans pick 43.Listening to Brahm's 3rd RacketComment

Re: WOOF - 2011 Official Phantom Draft (3 Rounds)
Jordan Lockyer yet to be taken yet, didn't realise he wasn't.
Would've taken him over Tynan and Bolger. Ah well, gotta pay more attention.
EDIT: That's a great pick up Doc.Comment

Pick 43 - Sydney - Jordan Lockyer (West Perth)

Re: WOOF - 2011 Official Phantom Draft (3 Rounds)
Thanks to GVG for putting in my picks for me, just a little bit on them.
Tom Sheridan - Think he's the best available player. Apparently has good endurance, which will work well alongside the polish of Dal Santo, Montagna, etc. Farren Ray can gut run, but Sheridan can gut run and kick it forwards.
Nick Murphy - I'll cop to not knowing much about him, but a friend of mine who played with him rates him, and he fits what I imagine St Kilda's needs to be. Roo won't be around forever, and they'll be needing someone to step into a key forward post in a couple of years. He jumps really high and marks it while doing so, which sounds a bit like Jack rather than Nick.
Zyrus Manson - First, a couple of disclaimers.
1 - Not sure if Waylon and Zyrus Manson are the same person, I'm lead to believe they are. If not, I meant the one who was kicking all of those goals and had that article written about him
2 - He could go anywhere in this draft. Based on the mock ups I've read, I've seen him anywhere to being picked in the teens, to not being picked at all. At the Saints, he'll be given a long, long time to develop while Riewoldt, and maybe even Kosi winds down. He should use this time to learn about the game and its nuances, forward structuring, etc., because all of the talent and physical tools are there. Has a ridiculous amount of potential.- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment
missed that. Edited now.
