One word, yes.

Saw him in the Prelim against the hawks and he was the dominant big man on the ground. Clunked 12 contested marks and kicked 4 goals.

Surely we could easily afford him too.

But then again, put yourself in his shoes, why would he want to leave, other than family, or the money? Adelaide made the prelim and we won't for a few years, so we are not attractive to players like him.

With Tippett I really think buyer beware applies big time. I don't think money comes into with Tippett either as from reports crows have offered Tippett quite a bit of cash. I think it's only Adelaide or Queensland for him.

People would've said the same about Mitch Clark this time last year, a big offer can do a lot to make a team look attractive. We should have a mountain of salary cap space, and with some senior players coming to an end in the next 2-3 years were are well positioned to land a big recruit.

Having said that, if I had my choice of the Adelaide forwards I'd take Walker.

It's more suited to teams on the up or near the top. I think we have shown in the past that decent players will want to join us if we are a good side.

Well I guess it could be worse if they has got Alan Jones to be the president, in alll serious though as much as I hate him Kochie could be the new Eddie Mc Guire and bring Pafc out of the doldrums. Will be an interesting thing to sit back and watch.
