Pattons injury might curtail that. Also we won't finish 17th....surely!

Gotta say 16 th 17th or even last.
Doesn't make much difference really. I know I'll get shot down but the trimmings of finishing last are better than 16 th or 17th.

We have definitely performed better than all of GWS, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Brisbane to this stage so I'm not sure how you can justify that. I'd be expecting to finish 13th-15th and any lower would be a failed season.

A winning culture always, ALWAYS beats draft picks.

            Apart from Gold Coast, yes.

Not sure we're travelling better than Gold Coast.
Be prepared for a failed season then because we're going to finish lower than that.
Key forwards win premierships . Top end quality wins games

Depends on who finishes where perhaps. GWS already have 2 big guys in Patton & Cameron & I think they have been reported in showing interest in Franklin. Melbourne have Dawes, Clark & Hogan with Watts probably ending up forward one day. So i think if those 2 teams finish below us they will be going in a different direction with their pick than us.

Good observation Anfo. How sure are we that we would take Boyd with our first pick even if he was available? Assuming Aish goes number 1, could we possibly look at Dunstan or Sheed or Billings instead of Boyd? Or is he the one we really want.

If we miss out on Boyd, who is the next best tall forward?

What I saw last year in the under 18 champs he could play either.

                              Thanks.

Is a Brown gorilla type or a N Riewoldt endurance/running/wide range type?

                              Anyone know anything about Conlon?

I'd say with his size more the gorilla type.
He played similar to Joe Daniher on what I saw.
