    Sen reported the two Hayes kids are David Hayes kids or relations of some sort but im sure he said kids.

                    The last quarter of this game is fast becoming one of my favourite quarters ever. The drama early when Box Hill skip out to a 3 goal lead and you can sense if they get the next goal it could be enough for them to defend to us kicking the last 6 goals in an emphatic reply.
                    They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                        Agree., it was pure footy. All the elements of the game on display. I thought, for a brief moment we were cooked but Dicko's goal and the way we manufactured it snuffed that sense of dread. Then we took it up a notch and really put them to the sword. We actually took our chances. In a final! Bodes well for those in that game who will crack the big time.

                                Finished watching this evening.

                                2nd half was tough. Box Hill had us there in the 3rd and we did very well to go in only 1 goal down. 4th looked rough early with a 3 goal hole but poured on goals quickly after to get the lead.

                                I really underrated JJ's game on the day. He was one of the reasons the third term wasn't so one sided.

                                Goodes was BOG without a doubt. I think I gave some of Corey's excellent work to Campbell.

                                Jones' no no no, great goal brought me out of my seat even 2 weeks on.

                                Some real great memories relived after watching this game again. Each player in this team will always have me as a fan for giving me something I'll remember forever.

                                    Spooky, I've got about 3 minutes to go in the last quarter. We looked shot in the last, absolutely shot. Great comeback. Lin getting smashed right now and gets up smiling. I'd be down for the count and angry.

                                    I'm still as happy as the day, not sure which players are 150 game players for the club. We had a very good bunch of VFL players, not too much AFL elite talent. But Ayce's finals series was good and Campbell looks workable too. I hope Goodes sticks on in a leadership role.

                                        That really didn't bother me. It's sounds cheesy but they're all heroes even if they never play a game at AFL level. The only thing that tainted watching the replay now was that 5 had already left. It was tough watching Jonesy taking the game by the throat knowing he's going to another club next year.

                                                Maybe the club played Jones at Footscray for the last part of the season to make him look good so they could get a better trade deal for him. Just a thought.

                                                    Looking back on the match, I feel that Grant had a very underrated game. He sprayed a few shots in the first quarter but he was working hard and presenting when he previously would let the missing shots take a toll on his composure.

                                                        Good point you make. After those early misses he started working harder and the game began to turn around for him.
