    Me too. IMO one of the all time great rock voices and characters. What a loss at only 53yo. Soundtrack to monkey grip an Aussie classic - “Open the door Wally……!!”

        Sounds like a fun night Josie. I didn't even know it was on as I was away most of May overseas.

                Friday show sold out. Tomorrow night Doggies playing so unfortunately no chance for Chrissy Amphlett fans to go to remaining 2 nights. However I think it might be performed again sometime (standing ovation indicates they’ve got a potential hit show).
                Looks like Rising Festival has scheduled extra shows this weekend & I think they’ve already sold out. It looks like final additional show this Monday still has tix. Sorry, for some reason unable to copy link. Search on title in caps above & you’ll find it though.

                    It’s snuck up on me because life is spent on the crest of the shitwave, but I’m going to see The Hives tomorrow night. Their recent late career stuff has been surprisingly solid to excellent.

                        Hands down one of the best shows I’ve been to and the best I’ve seen them play. If you’ve got the time and inclination go and see them Sunday night.
