Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
Looking forward to seeing the Damned?Dave, Rat and the Captain together again. They are old but they are not Rolling Stones old?so hold off on the Zimmer frame for the moment.
Teenage Fanclub first though. Looking forward to listening to the greatest guitar jangly band of all time (not even sure what genre they fit in these days ?maybe old men who play music like The Byrds or Big Star genre)Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I love the band but can?t bring myself to see them again without Gerard Love or any of his songsComment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I understand. Gerard is sorely missed but Raymond and Norman still make beautiful music. Plus they have the wonderful Euros Childs in the band these days. It will be a listening pleasure.Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
First time I saw the Rollins Band was at the Old Greek Theatre in Richmond. The floor was shaking, bits of the plaster fell off the walls and I couldn't hear a thing for 3 days. It was ****ing brilliant I was ecstatic for a fortnight afterwards. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
I don't think Zimmer frames are really a thing anymore anyway. These days old folk are getting around with those fold up pushers with the seat on the front that collapse and fit in the boot of the car. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

True, but the term zimmer frame felt funnier than walker, or whatever those things are called.Park that car

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
To be fair I kinda want one of these for myself, that's a ridiculous level of practicality and you never have to stand around."It's over. It's all over."Comment

Re: Recent Gigs & Upcoming ones
My mum's got one and I've taken it for a spin a couple of times. Disappointingly it's not easy to sit in and ride at the same time but I'm guessing that's a safety feature for old folk and it's not really set up for their kids and grandkids to hoon around in.They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment
