I have that single on vinyl. It's a picture sleeve from memory but I don't think that it's that picture sleeve. I got it in a showbag. Made the girl in the Hall of Manufacturers or wherever I got it from go through all the showbags until she found a record I liked. "Human League?" "Nup" Romantics?" "Nup" "Liittle Heroes?" "Nup" "Pretenders". "Already got it" "Robert Palmer?" " Yeah alright"
When I got home I realised that she'd put all the ones I said no to in the showbag with the rest of them!They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

If this doesn't make you nostalgic for the good old says of real trams, conductors, Vic Market when it was cheap, Pubs that had live music, share houses students could live in close to the city, and riding the trains back after a win, nothing will.

I can't even remember if I've posted this before.........but disco shits me. It's so boring, but then from time to time a tune rocks up that defies your biases.
AMANDA LEAR - Follow Me. This tune has three change ups, and is so technically brilliant it's not funny. For it's age and it's genre it has to go down as an absolute classic.
As an aside Amanda Lear was Salvador Dali's muse....

Here they are in a suitably pretentious concert setting, but don't mind that, just check out how amazing they play together with their regular band members and how tight the music is:

Bobby Darin - Beyond the Sea always cheers me up. I can't compete with Jeemak and his amazingly esoteric groupe house français, however Entrecote played the French version one night on a special occasion and it always gets me and the better half waltzing around the kitchen.
