Season 10 of Curb your Enthusiasm has now been completed

I enjoyed both of them

I reckon that I watched that fist episode at least 6 times before it suddenly 'dropped' and I could understand what the characters were talking about. But when it did, boy oh boy oh boy what great television!
He walkin'. Omar is moving
It was a bit like that, but once you are in, its a great show.

Hit on something I've been thinking more and more lately (especially with the people destroying the 5g towers). For all our advancements as a society, for the ability we have to identify both the problem and a solution, we really seem to be determined to regress.

It's not an easy one to resolve, humanity is both the problem and problem solver.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
Got nothing on the Australian production featuring John Farnham and Jon Stevens. The vocal performances on that version are insanely good.
Found almost all the singers in the version you posted underwhelming, especially the guy who plays Jesus. His voice lacks (and Tim Minchins for that matter) lack any real power which means they do a lot more tuneful talking than singing, and the big note in Gethsemane is not very impressive. Much more impressive stage show performance wise though tbf.
Sorry I'm kind of biased, i did grow up with the Australian cast version playing in my living room, and the rockier tone combined with the more powerful voices is much more in line with my typical music taste.

Is Jon Stevens he same guy who was in Noiseworks? He and I managed to get thrown out of a pub one day and the publican cancelled the gig!
I can remember the original Oz stage performance with Marcia Hines and Reg Livemore and the rest.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
I have to say, that I was such a huge Waits fan prior to the show that none of the other versions really resonated with me the way the original did. But they were starting from a long way back.
Park that car
Drop that phone
Sleep on the floor
Dream about me
I think you story is missing a couple of key parts. I assume Noiseworks was meant to be playing the same day?
Yep, at the Corner that very night. The publican, a bloke called Wayne who from memory also had the Sarah Sands and a few more venues under his control chucked us out.

Wayne caught us using in one of the dressing rooms and told us that he didn't care how popular Noiseworks were that they would be out on their ear if he caught us again. It took him about 10 minutes
