Season three of Marcella has started on Netflix. Not sure if you have seen the first two seasons, but give it a go and see what you think.FFC: Established 1883

Re: What are you watching at the moment
I finally forced myself to sit through Breaking Bad.
I first had to overcome my dislike for the characters. I get that that was part of the point of the show, but I've always been a guy that needs to cheer for someone.
Ultimately I thought it was a pretty good show, undeserving of the high praised placed upon it. I feel like it would have been a terrific show, but there seemed to be a lot of mid series bloat thrown in to milk the cash cow. The blowfly episode full on jumped the shark. I absolutely loved the Gus Fring denouement and the White Supremacist jack in the box.
Hank was the only "good guy", Saul Goodman was hands down the best character in the show and Jesse was the most sympathetic character. Walt was a weaselly bully.
I'd recommend it - but somewhere between season two and a half to four and a half I'd suggest keeping the remote handy to fast forward."It's over. It's all over."Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
I agree that it doesn't deserve the level of praise it receives. There's too much buffoonery involved in some parts.
Also, I get it's television but someone would have shot Jesse in the face pretty early in the piece given his carry on.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
For mine, Mad Men is still the greatest example of what multi-season TV drama is capable of.
It ended exactly when it should have, not an ounce of fat on it.Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

I'm loving The Great on Stan. Sweary, stylish, self-aware, sexy, 'occasionally true' account of Catherine II's early days at the Russian Imperial court. Clever and lots of fun. Plenty of eye candy for everyone.Comment

Giving Twin Peaks a crack for the first time. Just finished episode 1 of season 2.
Weird as hell, but Special Agent Cooper is an all time great character. Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
Premise and setting different this time.
3 European Vampires sent to conquer the 'New World' centuries ago, they didn't really take enthusiastically to that task, and just set up house where they embarked from the ship that brought them there, on Staten Island.
It's now modern time and much like The Office its presented as a mockumentary with camera crew acknowledged following their interactions and daily life.
It is brilliant.Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
There will be a very rough patch in season 2. Good luck making it through that. Worth it to make it to the end and the newer season IMO[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment
