Re: What are you watching at the moment
I watched The Beastie Boys story on Apple TV. I enjoyed it, although the format is a bit average. They could definitely do an amazing 4 part doc. They basically skipped the back part of their career.Park that car

Re: What are you watching at the moment
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but just watched The Edge cricket documentary on Amazon Prime. Utterly brilliant.
From Amazon Prime.....
Between 2009 and 2013, the England Test cricket team rose from the depths of the rankings to become the first and only English side to reach world number one since ICC records began. Captain Andrew Strauss and coach Andy Flower took over a team including some of the true greats of the English game and transformed them into a phenomenal winning machine before the pressure and scrutiny began to fracture mind, body and soul.I will never see #16 the same!!Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
My mum is watching a show called Top of the Lake on the ABC and I've been the room too playing chess with my son because the heaters on. Although I'm only half concentrating, I've never seen such a combination of wooden acting, shit writing, aimless direction and terrible casting. (My son just said "I bet the catering on set was inedible too" )
Nicole Kidman is playing a lesbian and I don't think the casting agent or producer were in the same room when she auditoned for the role. This is truly God awful. Currently two of the actors are playing out a scene about an illegal surregecy. One of them is confusing intensity and seems to think speaking really quickly in a staccato fashion conveys the emotion.
David Wenham has just entered stage left. In a wheelchair. Now this bloke can act. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

I'm the only one of four generations that didn't go to Hyde street school. My grandmother, my mum and my kids went there. I broke the mould and went to Kingsville. I did go to Footscray High though. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: What are you watching at the moment
Years ago I was in Footscray one Saturday morning. An old Chinese lady had set a Falun Gung stand up in the Mall outside the ANZ bank. An African guy came over and started yelling at her and waving his arms around and two guys, Australian and Eastern European came to her defence. I thought "heh! Only in Footscray"They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Thanks BAD. I watched it with my mum a while ago. The old girl (Footscray, not mum) just keeps changing.

Re: What are you watching at the moment
Watched the first part of the ESPN 30 for 30 on Lance Armstrong last night.
Amazing how the cycling authorities turned a blind eye to how rotten their sport was.
I'm not sure how to describe Lance, he certainly is a piece of work.Comment
