I did that earlier this year. You will have to report back once you’ve finished

          Triggered you mean.

It's just a shame they stopped making it after season 5. I was really interested to see where it went.

Weird it got cancelled. Aiya learning to fight with many faces would’ve been an epic storyline.

I really wanted to see what happened to Bran who definitely and definitively had been ruled out from ever being king.

              Shame.

At least we can say that this series never jumped the shark. It’s nice of these producers to do that. Like Flight of the Conchords or The Office in the UK leaving us wanting more after two seasons.

True. We'll never have to ponder such plot holes like where does an army of mindless undead marching through a barren icy tundra suddenly procure not one but two three hundred metre long massive iron chains.

We'll never have to discuss how a giant ballistae, fired from a rolling ship, can hit an unseen moving target in the air and how the bolt can bend through the air to go around a mountain.

It's lucky these things never happened.

You want to bet I'm still salty.

There are Hollywood marriages that don’t last long as the show, and are far less committed as you need to stick it out. It’s an open question whether you get married to Charlie Sheen and get it annulled down the track, or do it over again. Charlie seems nice, and I might get to meet Martin & Emelio at the ceremony conducted by an Elvis impersonator on crack and Vegas Strip chapel.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Can we maybe just lay off the spoilers for a bit? I've almost ploughed through S2 and S3 this weekend, so it won't be long until we can all heap shit on it.

I'll keep at it, though I'm a little underwhelmed and finding a fair chunk of it a bit tedious.

Perhaps it's because I've read LOTR about five times and had endless viewings of the films that I'm a bit desensitised. I get it's different but the plotting and scheming is similar and I've probably had my fill of battle scenes.

                        The nudity is pretty cool.
                        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Statute of limitations on spoilers and you're outside it boyo.

Besides, by the time you get to the spoilers listed you'll probably have cast aside the show like the steaming pile of garbage it is.

What to report........I can understand why all the fans were so upset. What they did with the last series was uninspired and lazy in the extreme. The episodes were far too long, and just didn't have enough actual content, instead they dragged. This made sitting up until half four watching overnight particularly savage, but I needed to get it done with and the new TV and sound bar had arrived during the week and I wanted to take them for a spin.

The WW/ Winterfell episode s8/e3 was a complete dogs breakfast, ill-sequenced and ridiculous. I literally could not believe what I was watching, asking myself are there people in the world who can make this stuff and think it's actually good - I mean, sincerely think it. But then I reminded myself of Lars Ulrich and his enthusiasm and elation over terrible lyrics in one of the Metallica documentaries and had to be satisfied with the fact there are.

All of the seasons leading up to it had their good points and bad points, and overall I was entertained and able to waste away plenty of lockdown hours because of them (or in spite of them, I'm not sure).

                            What did you think Az?
