The Boys is back on Prime as of today, three episodes.

I got a little tired of some of the schtick that was charming in a way, let's see what this season has to it.

Watched the first four episodes.

It?s cranked up the gore to a point it?s less comically absurd, rather it feels gratuitous. Couldn?t look at a few scenes. In fact everything has been laid on a little bit more thick.

Undecided on if it?s a good thing, or they?ve lost track.

I watched episode four during the week and I'm with you, a few of the scenes bordered on unwatchable. Anyway, we'll see how it goes and a bit like Ozark turned out to be, it's good if not repetitive fodder that could have been a bit better.

Finished Dark Matter S1 on Apple. Not sure they should do a second season as it finished up in a logical spot. Not a bad show, decent cast and decent concept.

I have been enjoying it as well, good balance between cringe and piss taking. I could see it going to shit if they squeeze the lemon on it though.

About 14 years late but just finished binging all six seasons of Justified.

During the final two seasons they lost their way in bits but as a whole it was a good watch.

Not many shows can nail an ending but I reckon they pretty much did.

I will definitely check out the books the tv show was based on.
