I’m enjoying Slow Horses quite a lot. Winning Time may be the worst show ever that I can’t stop watching.
Atlanta has been hugely interesting and I’ve never admired a shows ability to do whatever the hell it wants to from week to week, quite like that show does.
If anyone wants to form a Severance fan club and just discuss how *!*!*!*!ing amazing the final episode was for the rest of the AFL season I’ll be over here.
I'm here to discuss Severance and Slow Horses...
Severance set it's own pace, early on it took it's time, let you immerse yourself into the plot and characters. Mid way through a few things started to happen and then suddenly bang the last few eps flew by and was edge of the seat stuff.
So glad I persisted with. At the start I could only watch one episode a night (normally I'd watch 2) but towards the end I couldn't stop.
Slow horses - simply brilliant.
I am waiting for the 2nd volume of stranger things to drop before we start S4.
Finally got around to watching Tokyo Vice. About 4 eps in and love the feel of it, but I’m a huge Michael Mann mark so your mileage might vary because some of the acting is a little rough.
- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -

The Stranger Things eps are soooooo loooooong.
Park that car
Drop that phone
Sleep on the floor
Dream about me
Haven't got through anywhere near as much as I've wanted to, but have finished Station Eleven which if you can stomach a pandemic / post-pandemic story tangentially about the importance of art, is a strong and enjoyable watch.
Also finished S3 of Atlanta. Remains one of the most incredible TV shows going around. Can be maddening at times but I can't recall a show that will cover so many areas of culture and steadfastly do whatever the hell it wants, however the hell it wants.
Wading my way through Stranger Things S4. 2 eps of Ozark to go and then I can be done with it.
Have also watched 3/4 of a show on Stan called From. It's a pretty effective horror mystery about people who get trapped in a town they can't escape from, which also happens to be infested after dark by some sort of demonic monsters who feast on humans. Not a show where you want to think to hard about some of the practical elements, but a pretty solid popcorn show with some good scares.
The second volume of Stranger Things season four dropped today so I'm about to chuck the first one on. All up two episodes at about four hours in total.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
Finished Stranger Things. It really is a good show. You know what you're going to get, though it doesn't matter. They just seem to get it right (those one or two episodes in the second season notwithstanding).
Started Foundation a week or two ago and have burned through the episodes. It's genuine sci-fi and relatively true to the nature of the Asimov books on which it is based.
If you prefer space opera then it mightn't be for you, but the production quality is amazing and it doesn't have the cheese some of the other sci-fi varieties seem to have.
