I just finished it. Loved it. Jeff Daniels was amazing as the main baddie Frank Griffin.
Some of the characteristics that makes Jeff Daniels such a relatable and likeable actor just mesh perfectly in his portrayal of Frank Griffin. There is a scene around the campsite of some German pioneers he had his gang come across that is just fantastic acting on Daniels' behalf. In that scene as he tells his story, whilst bouncing a young child on his knee, he manages to invoke both sympathy and bowel-emptying fear: you learn both the origins of as well as the depths of his depravity.
The show at times gave off some Red Dead Redemption kinda vibes
