I see also there is S2 of Reservation Dogs which I'm assuming will be high quality like S1.
S2 of Atlanta starts to go some weird places. There’s an amazing Darius stand alone ep which is brilliantly bizarre.
S3 needs a bit of patience but pays off.

Watched the first ep of Res Dogs S2. Pretty much continues straight off from where S1 ended.

Thanks for the rec on Atlanta. It's like a mature and toned down version of the House Party movies (and I love Darius)!

      Or maybe not.

Res Dogs is back on! Siiiick.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

The Bear is a short run series that goes behind the scenes of a struggling family restaurant. I loved it and happy to see it has been green lit for S2.

I watched this too and really liked it, even if it was a little to frenetic to keep up with at least early on.

Have you been privvy to The Bear White T Shirt discourse? https://nymag.com/strategist/article...-the-bear.html

                  Watched a few movies…
Bullet train - reminded me of lock stock and 2 smoking barrels. Really enjoyed it. 8/10
Mr. Harrigan’s Phone- based on Stephen king short story. A slow burn with terrible ending. 6/10
The Infernal Machine- guy Pearce is brilliant. A writer being stalked. 7.5/10

Going to see Halloween Ends Sunday night.
I will never see #16 the same!!

First season done of House of Dragon. So far doesn't have the same feel as Game of Thrones. I think what made GOT were the interesting characters, which are far and few between in HOD.

Look forward to next season to see if they can build it up.

Much preferred it to the last few seasons of GOT. Mainly because I could see what the hell was going on!!!

Re: What are you watching at the moment

We recently got a couple of the streaming services, so have been finally watching a few shows I've wanted to see for a while.

                        * After Life. I especially loved the first two series. Some of Gervais' best writing, and just a really strong cast of characters.
                        * Rick & Morty. - watched the first season on Youtube many years ago, before it was available on subscription, but hadnt seen any since.
*Get Back.. I'm a big Beatles fan so I have just adored this. It really does add a different, nuanced perspective to the traditional narrative of the Beatles at this point in their career.
                        * A bunch of Bill Burr stand up comedy performances on Netflix - I like his humour.
*The Witcher. Just started watching as I'm a big fan of the game series of the same name.

I'm really looking forward to the Netflix release of the 3rd movie remake of the amazing novel All Quiet on the Western Front in a couple of days. It looks really good.

Also been watching on Foxtel Reservation Dogs... Season 2. I think this could be one of my favourite shows of the last few years. Its rare to see a show set in the US that is focused entirely around native american culture and sub-culture.

Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 were the best games of the previous gen consoles.

Rick and Morty is so good!

Ricky is now canonically a hack but Bill is brilliant. Has taken over as probably the best standup in the world (once upon a time it was probably Louis C.K and Chappelle but that's definitely not the case now)

YHF, Afterlife is outstanding and one of my all time favourites and I would urge you to also have a look at Derek which is also some of Gervais's best work with a very similar cast.

Watching "The Watcher". Based on a true story but has been embellished quite a bit I'd imagine. A limited series and enjoying it. Up to episode 4.
