So Lyon gets 8 wickets and Australia has a target of 76 runs to win.

Might be the most important moment of the test match.

Not confident we can get the 76 runs but that catch probably stopped it being beyond triple figures and gives the batsman a chance to believe they can win.

Earlier catch by Khawaja was pretty good also and the take by Green on the boundary was important.

That was insane catching, and it was great that a field was bowled to in order for it to come off!
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

India will know they need 4 maybe 5 wickets to win

How important will be the openers today? If India put a lot of the fieldsman in close catching positions it will create some opportunities to go over the top.

Given he came off for a while with a back injury the effort from Ussie was excellent.

This should be all over in the first hour - Head will have license to wield the willow and could easily get us to 0/40 odd in the first half a dozen overs. The only way the script changes is if there is a top order collapse in the first few overs today.

75 is nowhere near enough, even on this pitch. India needed to get another 50 runs to seed some doubt in the Australian dressing room. Lyon bowled the lights out yesterday, and the catching was elite.

I am hoping you are right and I do expect Head to go hard from the start.

However, if we lose early wickets it will be extremely difficult.

Marnus, Smith and Handscomb need to steady the ship if wickets start falling.

Feel like they've looked at Pujara's innings and decided that grinding it out is the best option.

Enthralling cricket. The next 5 overs will tell part of the story.

                              Either have I.

One thing, Warner should retire. I like Head as an opener. How do you think he would go in England with the pitches over there?

Positive intent and sensible batting has worked well.

FWIW BAD I wouldn't be confident with keeping Travis Head at the top of the order in England but it might depend on if we are going to stick with Warner or take a chance on a couple of other players.
