    Re: NBA Thread

His D helped on Rose but it was far from the reason they won. Chicago threw that away with some terrible choking of the highest order. Turnover after bad shot after Carlos Boozer.

He calls himself the King. NBA fans consistently debate if he is the greatest ever.

They are not much of a Basketball fan if they believe he is the greatest ever. I seriously doubt anyone has ever said this?????

I don't even think he'd be the greatest ever #4 that has played. I'd think LB would still own that title not LBJ.

One day he might be, but 100000000% not at this point in time.

        Re: NBA Thread

Chicago and Rose chocked. Sure Lebron had good D on him, but he had shouldn't have touched some of the shots he took (see Rose's game winning attempt in game 4 after Lebron's charge), not to mention Boozer's D.
Until he wins a few championships off his own back, not D-Wade's, he shouldn't be mentioned up with Kobe, MJ and the other greats

Amazing shooting performance by the Mavs today.
13 threes at 68% is incredible.
Heat on the brink of elimination.
Game Six now takes on monumental stakes.

Rumours swirling about Lebron's off-court life impacting his play.
          Deja Vu all over again

The only time in history a triple double has had the word pathetic attached to it.
Wade is the guy whose performance dropped off today.

No one is going to beat Dallas when they shoot 56% from the field and 68% from downtown.

                Re: NBA Thread

His performance didn't drop, his minutes did. Wade was injured and spent > 12 minutes in the locker room getting treatment.

This is when the best player in the World (and I do firmly believe he is) just takes over. But what does Lebron do?

                He passes to teammates.
                He takes jumpers.
He goes to the FT line twice in forty ****ing six minutes.

You are the most athletically gifted guy on the court and you can drive past / through people at will. What the heck are you doing getting to the line twice in 46 minutes??

0 points when the game was on the line. 0 points when the game was there to be won. 0 points when the game was screaming for someone to take over. 4 assists and 3 rebounds though. Good job.

You are a bit all over the shop here.
You are saying Lebron is the best in the world, then you say the best would now stand up, Then go on to proove that Lebron didn't stand to the occasion?????

                      Thats gold!
I've never heard that sort of statement before, you might be onto something.
People always say Lebron is awesome, but is nothing without Titles.
This (above) brings it into a different playing field.

                        From NFL player Damien Woody

If u ask @KingJames for a dollar, he'll only give u 75 cents; he never gives you the fourth quarter.

also, on there way to the stadium for game 5, apparently Wade and Lebron were pretending to be sick and just having a good old laugh about Dirk's fever. Making fun of Dirk's sickness, after he just beat you scoring 26 points including 10 in the 4th while a fit Lebron had 8 points and multiple 4th Q turnovers. Nice. God i hope Dallas win. Got exams right on the same time as game 6 and the possible 7 which sucks.
