        Spain will smash France.

Some good matches there. The surprise was Greece in getting into the last 8. Germany will win there against Greece.

I hope so, but you know, they don't score that heavily these days... (Ireland doesn't really count, they were out of their depth a bit here).

Gee Blatter might get a visit from the Ukraine Mob.
Not having goal line technology, mind blowing!

Maybe Greece can negotiate a bail-out if they are behind in the 2nd half against Germany? Hopefully we can do to their national team what we've done to their financial institutions

Ever since Euro 2004 and with the Asian take over of the local Greek restaurant industry, I havent been able to use my favourite Greek joke.

Why are Greeks no good at soccer?
Cos everytime they get a corner they put up a fish n chip shop.

If only they still owned them, the quality overall has dropped significantly.

The Whole Greece Euro 2004 thing was a huge surprise as prior to that they never won any major tournament. The year they won it also was the year they were hosting the Olympics in Athens.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure which of the quarter finals SBS are covering, but a website called www.coolsport.tv has terrific live coverage. Just look at the schedule.

                              Re: Euro 2012

SBS is covering the Czech Republic V Portugal and Spain V France. There was a lot of abuse towards SBS today as many Australians would have preferred to watch the other games.

However, Les Murray tweeted that they had no choice and had to take the left overs.

I'm sure if they had a choice they would have shown the England V Italy game as it would have drawn the largest audience.
