Interesting. They are a young list, traded out their first pick last year also. I guess they think Toumpas is a better option than a young kid in a shallow draft talent wise.

They clearly believe they only have one or two holes left to plug.
More of an In Bruges guy?

But were reported to running at 105% of the salary cap in 2015.. Adding Dixon & Toumpas will do nothing to reduce the spend.

Which gives the Hartlett noise a bit more credibility.

Swans asking after Dempsey from the Bombres.

I haven't minded him as a player but he looks well and truly cooked.

The Bloods culture might rejuvenate his career. He looked pretty good against Footscray a few weeks back. He was far too good for VFL level.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                    Agreed needs a freshen up.

Tries hard but is a downhill skier who is generally poor defensively. Still, may add some value to a good team of hard workers.

Craig Bird looking at options, may be on the move. Toumpas looks likely to go to Port for their second rounder.

Birds a decent player and should attract some interest.

We've reportedly been strongly into him in past off seasons but I don't think he fills a need at this point, so I doubt we'd go there.

Could Talia for Bird be something we would be interested in doing? Long shot I would say.
I doubt we would be looking to add him either but good players like Bird should be able to find homes quickly. I think he has a year to go on his contract.

Agree that Bird is a handy player who will have a number of suitors. Doubt we'll be a player though, considering Dalrymple's credo of draft for quality, trade for specific need. Bird just doesn't fulfill a specific need for us I'd reckon.

Stevo just said on Gameday that the race for Carlisle is down to Carlton and St. Kilda, with Carlton the likely winners
