A way to harness this Beams thing is perhaps for Pies to trade their pick 18 odd to Brisbane for Beams.

We then trade Adams and perhaps a later pick (~48?) to Brisbane for pick 18..?

Just a starting point thought.

Collingwood really want May, so need to somehow get him in the deal.

If that’s the case I can’t see them wanting our pick 7 for wingard.

Ok, so there's a lot left to play out.

The landscape is shifting all the time.

We can engineer some 3/4 way trades and get our grubby little fingers into some of these deals.

My fantasy is

IN. Wingard (or gun with pick 7), Jack Martin, West, Khamis, steak knives.

OUT. Dalhaus, Adams, Honeychurch, and (maybe) Roughead,

I honestly think port will be desperate to get GC pick 3, as that will get them a guaranteed Rankine or Rozee. Pick 6 may not.

Adelaide’s Reid and Ogilvie would have collectively spat out their morning coffees. Port beating them to 2 and 3 (Lukosius/Rankine/Rozee) is probably their worst nightmare.

Mark my words, they are going to be shitting bricks. If this was Madden ‘99 they have just dialled up the Hail Mary and right now they would be frantically mashing the keypad. Sloane + Crouch + Doedee + Lynch + Smith for our 7?

How the F can Hawks land both Wingard and Scully - and possibly others?

It's downright annoying that they continue to pluck good players from other clubs at will whilst we can only ever land discarded fringe players.
