Since the dome opened in only 2x years have Dome tenants won the flag.

    There is something to it.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

All the smaller and more poorly run clubs were pushed over to the Dome?
I should leave it alone but you're not right

I have a Carlton mate who believes they can't be a legitimate threat while they split games between Marvel and the MCG.

Essendon only played 7 home games there and 4 at the G that season too.
So we are really the only ones who were proper full tenants (did we sell one to Cairns maybe?).

2016 was our last home game in Cairns.

May ironed out Stringer but Macrae got his usual million touches. Never lost a game there.

Can we now have a rule to only refer to Essendon as the Slow Horses on WOOF?
Not when the TV Slow Horses are likeable, might look like winning the day, and are led by somebody competent.
              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

So Foxtel is playing a series AFL superstars and it says Darcy Parish !
I’m assuming it will be highlights of him playing kick to kick with a team mate across the half back line.

Exactly , from kicking it sideways and receiving it back.

If they folded we would lose a lot of comedy routines.

Every time this thread is bumped, I open it in anticipation thinking "What have the idiots done now?"

I'm usually left with a big smile on my face at the end.

                            Re: Essendon

I love how the bombers look after the fans . Out price any club do so no average wage fan can afford it.
The hanger was built with no thought for the average member to be protected from the weather or seating , members complained so they put up some big beach umbrellas.
It’s comical and it gets me the members still back them.
Oh and let’s not forget the on field disasters and Dodoro.
There’s a place in North Melbourne called the comedy club I’m still trying to figure out why Essendon hasn’t sued them for using their name.

So I read Heppells interview somewhere today and it seems he is satisfied with a career of not winning anything.
Not sure that’s what you want, players going into a new season with that mindset an ex captain as well.
Obviously doesn’t think they are any good.
One thing you can’t argue is that Essendon are the most consistant team in the league over the last twenty years.

Plenty of talented players never play in a GF or win a flag. Heppell has longevity in the game so well done by him and he should leave the game thinking that he at least tried his best. I just hope we can keep Essendon out of the finals contention for a couple of more years.
