Well you can do that without having him on the list , taking up a young players spot.
Make him a coach or offer him enough to play VFL.
He isn’t going to play AFL again by the looks of it, why waste a list spot.
You also aren’t going to play Bryan, Draper and Todd in the same team.

Watched the end of the game last night and the lions must have relaxed a bit , but the mistakes the bombers made in the last 15 minutes were North like embarrassing.
Dropped uncontested marks, fumbling, surely Stringer can’t get another contract either.

The umpires blantly cheated when they played us. They got their first 4 goals from ridicolous free kicks.

You take that out of the equation and even up the umpiring, it would change the momentum of the game.

Essendon have a lot of downhill skiers who fumble even without pressure.

McKay is turning out to be a complete dud for them. North could be playing finals sooner than Bombers.

Ah, Essendon! You have given me a lot of joy in 2024. Herbatron, who we thought had pulled the plug, has resurfaced. Nothing to do with the club, of course, but everything to do with Essington's second half of the season fade out.
The second gift has been the Bomberblitz match day thread. Extremely entertaining. Their supporters do not hold back.

I’m guessing they want Scott and 3/4 of the list gone, but are upset Dodoro left, bring back Hird .

They should shoot Draper into the sun. If you?re tall you can be absolutely terrible or completely unserious but not both.

Yeah I don’t see much in Draper at all.
He is another stringer but no talent.

He tries hard which is pretty unique on the Essendon list.

Does he though? Maybe at planning goal celebrations for the one time a month he gets to use them.

Haha I think there are lots of things to criticise Sam Draper for but his effort is not one of them. And his soccer skills, of course. Did you know he played soccer?

Me too. I thought he was a basketballer - you know being tall and all that. But, then again, Pendlebury is not that tall and I think I heard it mentioned once that he played a few games of basket ball as kid. Or was that Dempsey?

Scott, Stringer, Langford, Guelfi, Cox, Draper, McGrath, McKay, Parish, Lavede, Shiel, Menzies, Redman - actually it's probably easier to name the handful they want to keep.

There is some love for Hird still but not as much as you might expect. Dodoro is persona non grata as is President Barham and the Marketing Department.

We did it with Martin. If Essendon are going to spend big on their soft cap, putting your back up in the rookie list helps that spend.
