Hilarious that playing an away game is a focus of an AGM by voters .
I am not sure how that has anything to do with an AGM either.
imagine if they lost it they would want the whole board sacked the coach sacked and half the players would be labelled as useless.
That game will now become one of my must watch games .. go cats :-)

I would be madder if Geelong at Geelong was t a free win these days.

Also bookmark this most because there’s not a chance in hell Baz plays in that game.

Rohan nails Essendon with this - and it's hard to disagree:

After another morale-sapping early-season defeat, Essendon has shown it remains where it's been for the past 25 years, in perpetual irrelevance, writes Rohan Connolly.

It was a pathetic moment for the club when the players voted Merrett out of their leadership group, the only player there with a spine.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. They are lucky to have had Sheedy and solid recruiting zones before the introduction of the national draft, without KS their last finals win was in 1968.

They would have lost a whole lot more supporters in the last 20 years if it weren't for Sheedy either. No Sheedy, no ANZAC Day game, no Dreamtime game to keep them relevant every season which painted over their lack of a finals win from 2004 until the supplements saga.
