Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022

To paraphrase the great Paul Keating from the 1990 election, if Lobb is the answer, then it must have a been a silly question.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Geelong do get someone from GWS in Tanner Bruhn

Amid interest from multiple clubs, Greater Western Sydney's Tanner Bruhn wants to join Geelong

He was always going to leave. His face on draft night was priceless.

FWIW the Sporting News has linked us to Lobb and Darcy Tucker(Hadn't heard that one).

Doesn't look like an impressive acquisition unless he's good as a defensive focused mid.

Bevo mentioned a few times late in the year that he has lamented our ball use, I haven't watched him too closely but he is a neat kick. He wouldn't surprise as he did play well against us at the dome late in the year and we do have history at taking players when this is the case.

Can only guess here but Tucker could be in the frame as a bargain basement replacement for Dunkley if he leaves. He is a defensive minded mid who can also win his own ball - I think he also has a big engine from memory.

He's probably fallen behind the pecking order with Brodie having a breakout year and Brayshaw/Serong going up another level. It's not a sexy headline trade but there are worse moneyball types out there.

18 touches, 9 kicks, 2 behinds 2 goal assists. Statistically his best game of the year which doesn't say much about the rest of his year

great point. Wasn't on Footywire so I missed it. He had 12. One of the worst among mids/forwards that day

He was pretty open about wanting to nail down a wing spot before signing his last contract (he's contracted until 2023).
Geez Freo are clearing the decks if Tucker goes too

He jumps ahead of quite a few if he joins us.

Tucker is an interesting one, a back flanker or winger who just hasn't been able to command a regular spot at Fremantle over the last few seasons after a very promising start. 100 games of experience though.
Ballarat boy so it could be a nice link given our ties there.

As mentioned in that article and elsewhere Liam Henry may be on the move - surely a talented young small forward should pique our interest?
