Telling gay people they?ll burn in hell is a weird way of expressing love
Not trying to be facetious but I believe telling gay people they will burn in hell = expressing love for certain (fundamentalist?) religious people. Like a warning from a place of love.
**** him, don't want that sort anywhere near our players.
I think you would be surprised by how many current AFL players, coaches, officials hold that view, in line with their religious beliefs (which I personally do not share).

Yep. It's basically acceptable in Australia. Just try to not say what you actually mean publicly too much as the views sound/are horrendous when said aloud.

Impossible to believe that a sport centred around boofhead macho male culture would be this way. Are you sure?
