Frawley on 3AW tonight says he still doesn't know what Essendon did wrong .
Clarkson's sprouting what the head of the Coaches association should have been saying.
Great to see a senior AFL coach go public on the disgrace that took place at Windy Hill and not tiptoe around the issue. Muchos respect to Clarko for having the balls to do so in public. This is in direct contrast to the head of the AFL Coaches Association, Danny Frawley, who failed 17 of the 18 members he is supposed to be the voice for.
I agree with you that it's fantastic to hear a coach speak out against the scandal, but I'm not sold on his blueprint. Would two years of assistance really have made Hird less conceited and stopped the scandal or his blind arrogance in the face of it? Voss didn't create any scandal, he just couldn't manage a list.
I think an apprenticeship is a must for any club looking at a coach. But the 'blueprint' feels more like a safeguard for the clubs from themselves and their own nostalgic notions of returning heroes than it does for the game and any scandal that may hit it.

Is she his wife or his sister? They are so similar, and both altogether horrible people.
They constantly refer Demetriou tipping them off that they were in the shit, like it somehow absolves him from his outrageous behaviour, it's the sort of pathetic deflection only a moron would fall for.
So it's probably working on cult Essendon.

For christ sake Tarnia or Tania, your husband is responsible for this sorry saga.
The Hird spin doctors are getting her to speak, but regardless of tip offs just assume some sort of responsibility.
So David Evans rang to ask James Hird to tell the truth? Is that all she is saying.
Just a typical Hird response, both in timing and target. Again tries to heap the blame on Evans and Demetriou, and in a week where all the media could have and would have been purely abut the excitement of Essendons season starting instead they dredge up this crap and make sure the headline today is about them and not the club.
It is disturbing how anybody in a position of power at Essendon at the time in question has been moved on, while Hird, the man of "integrity" and "honesty" remains the favoured son and will make a triumphant return later this year to "reward" his appreciative fans.
Hird should go on Survivor, because he sure will outlast anybody and everybody, and is more than capable of the blindside backstab.
Tania, when Essendon players who's wives conceived during the supplements injection schedule are beside themselves with worry, will you be there to comfort them? Complete side-track to the main issue.
