You really have to question the ethics of any company that maintains their sponsorship with an organisation that wilfully operated a systematic doping regime the likes of the Chinese swim team and East Germans. What sort of reflection is that on their products and services?

Robbo is best taken as a comedic performance artist. His utterances on 360 are written up word for word as works of humour - they work a treat on this level. He has online followings dedicated to his utter incompetence.

His career is a real anomaly. Some love him because he is some kind of throwback to a simpler time.

Apologies ir derailing thread but love this post.I do not have foxtel however I find Robbo's blokey deameanour and incoherent mumbling both annoying, hilarious and outrageous. Makes me think anyone could be in sports journalism - perhaps that's why the average punter likes him. If anyone has links to sites potting him please post in media blog. Thanks.

Josie, the above thread on Big Footy is pretty comprehensive. Has been going for years. They have evolved Robbo from the ultimate retro bogan buffoon into a semi-religious figure whose seemingly incompetent ways hide deeper meanings. Good luck ploughing through it if you have the time.

Some evidence I did not know.

Dank was at games, several players denied this until they were shown text messages that proved they were lying.

Statements from players in regards to self reporting, saying "you list the things that you feel you need to list” show how unprofessional they were.

Of course he would pick the interviewer, this being the biggest story in football you will agree to anything he wants to get him on.
And you can be assured it won't be hard to answer questions he will Probably give them the list of questions they can ask and the answers he will give.
