    Good Article here
I honestly don't see how Team Hird/Holmes could have expected anything other than this type of questioning.

The duplicity of Hird, stating Reid is his mate, and then pushing him under the bus is tantamount to how he's made such a dick of himself.

Remember, the moment the EFC issue was raised Hird accepted full responsibility over the matter - acknowledging it happened on his watch and under his guidance.

It beggars belief anyone could forget that and not question him on that particular point.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Yes JM and what annoys me is ' Bruce would admit he could have done more' ... fine, who was getting paid megabucks?
Proudly touts Bruce Reid as his family doctor, then as you say, some months later, throws him under a bus.
Where is Bruce Reid now? Still at the club?

Lets just accept that Hird is a turd of the highest order.....demands unity of the players and then throws all his colleagues and the club he loves to the Wolves. Brand Hird is the only thing he cares about - w*anker!

          Hird, Hird, Hird.
          Hird is a turd.

          I said

          Hird, Hird, Hird.
          Hird is a turd.

Up until Sunday nights interview Hird had thrown everyone at their shitstain of a club, connected with this scandal, under the bus except one, come on down Doctor Bruce Reid it's your turn tonight.
And as an aside does anyone in this day and age handwrite a letter? Surely any concerns raised by the good doctor would be communicated via email to multiple recipients. But then again a hand written letter is much easier to lose/shred/destroy than try to cover up an email trail.
If Hird gets a job in any form of media this season, (I'm looking at you channel seven) the world has lost all balance and control.

Doctors used tend to write letters and prescriptions but you are right most just print them from a printer next to their desks. Maybe Dic Reid went to the Dyson Heydon school of how to use computer equipment.

He should have got on to the blower and spoke to the AFL Chief Medical officer of his concerns, but instead he just shut his mouth. I thought a Doctor at a club's job is to look after the medical side, whether that is injuries or other illnesses of the players. Surely injecting players with supplements should be a concern. I know that if a player is on holiday and cops an injury, or gets sick, the first thing they have to do is contact the club doctor. The reason is the club doesn't want an unknown doctor treating a player with medicines that may be banned for athletes.

He should have had a direct reporting line to the Board, with the ability to overrule the Football Director on medical issues.

I didn't see the interview on Sunday night. Were any questions asked about Hird's association with "Dr. Ageless" Shane Charters"?

Agree 100%. Doc Reid got his back though. He testified at the CAS appeal on behalf of WADA.

I appreciate it's fashionable to criticise the ABC for its lack of impartiality or otherwise - especially if you're not slightly left leaning or a centralist - though if you can find me any options on FTA that present opinions with the balance the ABC does I'd be happy to hear of them.

Holmes' interview was crap, but it wasn't in any way representative of the standard or best work the ABC produces.
Dissapointing that Gerrard Wheatley wasn't interviewing JTurd would have gone close to storming out ala Don Lane and James Randi.

Top five moment of Australian TV. That, three things Graham Kennedy did and Bert Newton nearly getting a slap from Mohammed Ali.

A punch on and projectiles on a show designed for old age pensioners to watch. Fantastic!
