And a home town tribunal? Really? A County Court judge is going to trash his reputation and leave himself open to prosecution himself just to let a bunch of footballers off. Seriously?
I've seen and heard of plenty of otherwise respectable judicial officials make horrendous and inexplicable rulings on admissibility of evidence.

There is nothing wrong with WADA submitting to a higher jurisdiction that the previous Court didn't properly consider the evidence in their ruling.

\A standard that was higher than the one that nabbed Lance Armstrong.

There will never be the evidence that you seem to be looking for with a performance enhancing drugs case. The whole point of doing it is to not get caught so why would you keep detailed records??

Destruction of or lack of record keeping should perhaps carry the same penalties as drug cheating......

I actually think it does. If you don't have records you are hiding something, only thing you have to prove is something was injected, and they have all admitted they were injected.
They also have rules in place that the player or sportsman must have their own records it is their responsibility .. So I don't see how the players can actually be found not guilty if they don't have records.
Thing I find funny is the club is saying differebt people have the records, it's irrelevant the players must keep their own records
          Bring back the biff

Talking to a work colleague whose husband is in the police force, and he works in intelligence, she said basically everything that was used by ASADA went through them first. She couldn't share too much obviously, but did say that what was said publicly about the case against the Bombers is only a fraction of what actually went on. I asked if WADA would have some more to go on in their case, and she said "Quite possibly". She then went on a rant about Hird, most of which I can't post here (mainly due to the expletive-laden content!)

Make of that what you will, but she doesn't make that sort of thing up.

                  Cheers.

Andrew do you mean what was placed within the tribunal and subsequently released, or what was uncovered and not admitted to the tribunal prior to it determining what was admissable?
                  TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

From what I was told, I think the latter. Understandably, she was a bit cagey. I tried to press her, but she wasn't having a good day! She has been on the money with info on a number of high profile criminal cases recently, so I don't doubt her. Oh, and she used to be a prison warden, so there's two reasons for me to go along with whatever she says!

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

This is an example of where one poster wrecked it for all of us.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Probably what most of us think anyway, but along the lines that he is an arrogant so-and-so who is only interested in his own image, he didn't care about what might potentially have happened to the players, in pursuit of winning (or as Essendon themselves say, "Whatever it takes"). She talked about how he made those appeals for himself, then tried to say it was for the players. I'm guessing she isn't a fan!
