Sanders a big surprise, is the rating system too kind to him?

Nah, the last few weeks have been some of the best Sanders has played (yet!). 7th feels about right given the names around him.

The tail was better than last week, also a good sign.
JJ was fit to play, not perform. (Did anyone else notice, he has changed his kicking mechanics? Trying to reduce the eccentric load)

Really enjoying this thread thanks Rusty.

I thought Sanders had a great game, perhaps his best to date. Seemed to be able to find space at will and hit up targets. Couldn't ask for more from a second year player.

Loved West's game. His points well deserved.

I agree with Saunders. West had a good game, but I think a 9 is generous given he kicked 1-3. He kicks 3-1 and we win the game. Think you were harsh on Naughton too. His game was a 6 at least.

I felt Naughton’s game was an average game for him after quarter time. He looked like the Naughton we expect. Did he quiet first quarter and missed goals bring him down?

On Sanders the model is working and showing his improvement week on week.

Lobb is the interesting one. I think the model is overrating his impact this year compared to his back half of 2024.

Yeah, I agree on Lobb, higher than I would personally have him.

Naughton, should have kicked 6-8. Missed very easy shots, dropped marks (unforced errors). With that much quality feed, and being a top-paid player, 3 goals is the bare minimum return.

Yep. I think most teams would be happy for that performance from their key forward. Think he will need some help though.

I think that was Naughton's best game of the year, still some almost moments, however he worked his but off.
