Really surprised by the low rating for Kennedy & Dale, but I'll concentrate on Kennedy.

    vs St.Kilda - 22 touches, 2 goals, 6 tackles, 10 clearances (next best was Bont on 8) = 10
    vs GWS - 26 touches, 2 goals, 2 tackles, 7 clearances (4th best for us) = 10
    vs Port - 26 touches, 0 goals, 8 tackles, 11 clearances (next best for us was 5) = 6

Help me make sense of this?

Hey, I would start with more turnovers, a drop in disposal efficiency and just the 5 score involvements.
The scoreboard impact from the 11 clearances was not there, vs other weeks.
Without the 8 tackles, it would have been a 5.
Impact from the stats is key.
You add no goals kicked this week, it actually stcaks up really well.
6 is still a good game of footy.

Dale is the only 1 I disagree with.

I'm against making adjustments off 1 persons opinion (starting with my own), but if enough people make a case for a players score being incorrect and for similar reasons, I am open to adjustments. Equally, if others chime in and agree with it, it stays put.

          I'd be leaving it.

The data is the data mate. What's wrong with a 6???
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I would be curious where Dale is losing points but leave it to the end of the year to decide if you need to change your methodology IMO.

It's not as good as a 7 or higher!

I understand the ratings in this are different, but the general consensus from those who voted on WOOF was that Dale was in our best 3-4 and the coaches gave him 3rd best so to see him well down in the MVP was surprising.

10 for Rhylee West is surprising.

Based on your other comments, I'm guessing that 10 score involvements from 15 touches was the key to that - but still didn't feel like a perfect game to me.

Huge scores for the defenders. Lobb, Cleary, Williams, JOD, Bramble, JJ, massive scores.

Rusty12, don’t make changes based on these discussions. That is what the woof voting thread is for.
                    I really like this.
I can’t wait for the the comparison come B&F night.

Agree 100% with this. The data is the data, let's see how things pan out before you refine it.
                      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Some love here for Bailey Williams. Just gets on with it what a foot soldier he is. Versatile and durable Bevo must love him.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

He got caught ball watching awfully to give Port their first, but really knuckled down after that.

An absolute pleasure to watch when he's fit and playing well, and a bit of a barometer.

He's had a terrific season. Players with a "Where do you need me coach?" attitude should be valued highly by their coaches and team mates.

I went to check how old he is, and this is on his Wikipedia...can anyone explain?

Bailey Williams (born 10 October 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is commonly referred to as 'the horse germ'. At 189 cm (6 ft 2 in) tall and 86 kg (190 lb), he plays primarily as a rebounding half-back who can shift into the midfield. He grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. He played top-level junior football with Glenelg in the South Australian National Football League. He was drafted by the Western Bulldogs with their fourth selection and forty-eighth overall in the 2015 AFL draft.[2][3][4] Since then, he has been a VFL premiership player, and a winner of the Tony Liberatore Most Improved Player Award.

                                Hey Mate,
There might be some nuisance being missed.
West, was elite in his role, 10 score involvements, from 15 touches, no waste, it is as elite as you can get. 0 missed tackles.
                                It was prime Cyril Riloli.
He is not being compared to Bont.
It doesn't need to be a perfect game, only elite, or +++ above average.
