I’m hoping to see Busslinger cement a spot in the team

Well, if he's in the side and the plan is to move him all around the place then that isn't a plan. Of course EVERY player needs to just suck it up on game day and fill in as/when required - but there still needs to be a plan going in. I get what your saying but when the first rotations come at the 3-minute mark, where does he go? He has to go somewhere...

      Yep - cool.

I think you are seriously under-rating how hard it is for contested ball winners to play outside roles - particularly if (aka when!) they get caught as the off-ball winger with corridor defense responsibilities...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I’m unsure where Freijah has been training in match sim etc but I can see him, truck, Poulter, Gags being the mainstays on the wing next year. Poulter had a good run late last year.

I also have a feeling we’ll throw more number through the middle to have different looks.
Bont, Treloar, Libba, Richards, Sanders and Kennedy.
I see Kennedy competing for a spot with Harmes.

Is this the team to face Norf? I can't see the OP.

We could put Caleb on Jack Darling - and he's playing for them.

              Opinions vary.

              Why do you think so??

He's done a lot of work after coming to the club so underdone and he deserves some rewards for his hard work.
I struggle to find a spot for him if we are playing both Lobb and L.Jones in the back line and he is just to similar to Liam at the moment.
Lets see how he goes in Jan and Feb during match sims.

Hi guys , about the new players coming into the club this year , iv been to 1 or 2 sessions pre chrissy and the guy that sticks out for me is LUKE KENNEDY, his bio said his a great defensive runner , just watching he certainly has the tank but what impressed me the most was his kicking both feet took me a while to realise he was a right footer but very proficient both sides of his body( Leon Cameron vibes) looks a real chance for a game early .

He would need a few thing to really go right for him but when you get a starting midfield role in some of the match sims then you're probably around the mark.
With Garcia in sensational form so far and Sanders and M.Kennedy it's going to be hard for Luke to find a spot but maybe the find another position for him.

Fun Fact, Luke's brother has come to training a couple times and seems to be an astute onlooker.

Cheers for that, there is certainty some positive noise surrounding him and could very well be one of those "steals of the draft", will certainly be one to watch early on the VFL.

Listening to Twomey and co talk about Luke, and the fact that he was taken later in the draft because he was playing in a team with a star studded midfield and really only got a chance to play as a mid when there may have been a few injuries etc, so sounds like he could be one of those that can play a few different positions, one of those gap fillers.

Yeah, he was regarded as the 5th Beetle at the Dragons but he can play.

Some training reports have Freijah being the distributer from the back half again, I'm expecting him to play the same role as last year (at least at the start of the year).

I am amused by the narrative that he couldn't get a game as an inside mid in the Dragons mighty line-up but now he has Bont, Liber, Treloar, Richards, Kennedy, Sanders etc in the same 'group' as him at the Dogs - all AFL AA-candidates or top 10 B&F finishers...or in Sanders case top 10 draft picks - he will somehow fit in as a mid in the short term?

He needs to find another role.

Agree mate but can’t keep him out of the team for too long . Need to reward the young bloke if we want to lock him in long term
