Anthony Morabito - 192cm midfielder with great running and plenty of upside.

Whilst Richmond supporters have their heart set on Dustin Martin, Morabito is more versatile and could be a far superior player if Hardwick can unleash his potential.

      Fremantle:
      Wow!

That threw me. I had all my stuff on Morabito & how he was well coached at Colt's level etc...

      Time extension please.

Player number 245731, Dustin Martin, Bendigo Pioneers.

Trengrove and Scully are absolute lead-pipe locks to go one and two, in whichever order. Both are gun mids who can play both inside and out, are hard as nails, have great skills (Trengrove in particular) and can kick a goal or two. They both also have great leadership potential, something which Melbourne, along with a midfield (which they now have) and a forwardline target (more on that later), sorely need. Teaming these two with the likes of Morton, Strauss, Blease and co. will be a fearsome sight in years to come.

4 picks completed and Comrade is next up on the stage. I reckon I could make this pick for him but he might surprise me

Big task? I've read some differing points of view about him but having watched him at the carnival he could be a ripper.
From what I have read he's been compared to Pavlich, Goodes and Headland.

                Yep. Big task.

Will leave whoever drafts him wanting more for the next 10 years.

I claimed him prior to the carnival and whilst he didn't have a great finish to the TAC Cup year, I'm still willing to go with:

                  Pick 5 - Gary Rohan

Blessed with blistering pace, a good leap and the ability to produce the 'freakish', Rohan has the tools to blossom at the highest level and has no doubt had recruiters drooling over his athletic prowess.

My guess is that he'll start as a half forward for the first part of his career before moving to the middle. He suits the Kangaroos who lack genuine pace in the midfield and are crying out for a line breaker/X-Factor type.

As much as I like Rohan, I do have some concerns. He is flashy yet inconsistent and doesn't win a lot of possession, even at TAC Cup level. A lot will depend on how well he is developed once he's at an AFL club. If he gets it right he could be a very, very good player in the Steve Johnson mold.

No doubt you claimed him well before the carnival. In fact I think you asked me to check him out at the Casey games.

I think potentially he could be one of the top couple of players from this draft, but he could also quite easily go the other way.

Will North pull the trigger, I wonder?

I think he's one of 4 players that North might be interested in with that pick. As you pointed out it's his 4 quarter consistency and getting enough of the ball that might deter a club or 2.

He had a terrific TAC finals campaign. Reminds me of MacKay from the Crows.
