What do you guys think about our talls (Minson, Cordy, Roughead, Campbell). Could any of them be up for trade?

Tippet is overrated IMO.

Good player, but not worth the shitstorm that it'll take to get him. His performance in the PF was exceptional, but it's not a regular occurance.

Walker, on the other hand, is an absolute superstar.

If not Tippett who might be of interest for us to look at. Fevola a couple of years ago and if he didn't have off field problems and had put more effort in his game would have been a good pick but that won't happen.

I think in the Prelim he showed how good he is. Every time Adelaide attacked from the backline, Tippet was on the wing and took a contested mark and got the ball into the forward line very quickly. He never looked like not taking a contested mark. When he went forward he kicked 4 goals.

Not for for me.

Tippett will have the odd burst where he looks like he could be a star, but they are far too few and far between.Walker is a forward you can build a team around.

Walker is very one dimensional. Tippet can play around the ground as well as forward.

Now who was it on this board that said unless a player proves themselves in finals they aren't that good.

I think sometimes we have to take risks with some players like when we got Barry Hall and we were worried that his on field problems would be a problem but he proved that he was very good.

If it wasn't for Walker, Adelaide would not have made the PF in the first place and Tippet wouldn't have had a chance to play well against Hawthorn

Agree. Walker was instrumental in the Crows doing very well this season and getting as far as they got nearly toppling Hawthorn in the PF to make the GF.

Not only that, he turned the game against Fremantle and was the sole difference between winning and losing.

Absolutely. The Crows only got up by 10 points in the end against an in form Freo and if he hadn't of played in that game they may well have lost it. It will be interesting to see how the Crows go next season.

I'm in the Walker > Tippet group as well. We've basically got Cordy and Roughead on our list already who are very similar, albeit poor man's versions, of Tippet. By contrast our list is screaming out for that explosive power forward type, of which Walker very much fits the bill.
