I wouldn't like to see us send Tutt packing. I think he has some potential - and would like to see him get plenty of opportunities next year - and hopefully stay injury free.

His playing style isn't to 'crack in' as the coach likes which could be more of a factor than work wthic.

Re: 2012 Trade rumours and discussion

GREATER Western Sydney has lobbed a curve ball into the AFL's stalled trade period, declaring that four of its prized first-round draft picks are up for grabs.

The Giants have five of the top 13 picks and were widely expected to welcome a second wave of star teenage talent in next month's draft.

But the Herald Sun can reveal the Giants are now prepared to part with picks 2, 3, 12 and 13 in a bid to add some top-line senior players to their fledgling side.

However, the coveted No.1 choice, which has been reserved for sublime Dandenong utility Lachie Whitfield, is off-limits to rivals.

With almost $2 million extra in its salary cap, including the controversial cost of living allowance, the Giants are believed to eyeing off some of the biggest names in the game before next Friday's trade deadline.

The club has identified a key defender as a priority to help beef up its young backline.

The Giants also confirmed they have inquired about contracted Carlton ruckman Robbie Warnock.
            Interesting article in the HUN?

Who could we give up for another first rounder?

Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Matt Campbell from North has asked for a trade. This follows an incident at Crown where he was arrested.

                  Lake? oh, whoops.

Still, it was important to get the Lake trade out of the way as fast as possible. wasnt it?

I think this draft is very even and while that seems like a great theory I'm not sure it gives us much.

Getting an extra early pick somehow might be worth exploring. Something like pick 6 and 41 for something like 17 and 20 is worth having a talk about.

I really doubt Lake would have entertained going to GWS. GWS wouldn't swap pick 13 on a defender that's not going to be around when they're playing finals.
                              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

GWS were never giving up an early pick for a 31y/o.
Lake wants to play in a premiership team, and was contracted.
                                Good move for both sides
