Ruckman height? N/A website has him at 187cm?

        I was wrong!

Nathan Gordon remembers John Longmire's prophetic words as he seeks to resurrect his AFL career

But he has done some ruckwork around the ground for North this year as required

        Bloody good player though!

Hun reporting Garlett on talent is Top 10.

I wonder if there is a club brave enough?

He was top 10 talent last year (anecdotally).
He's managed a National Draft Camp invite so clubs are certainly looking at him

                Re: 2013 draft watch

Considering we are now certain to have pick 4, what scenario would be best for the club? Trade for more picks later in the round plus a young player with a bit of potential, still go for pick 1 or pick the best available player at 4? Does it make a considerable difference that we have pick 4 and not 3?

I would keep pick 4 and we can play around with the other picks.

It would be interesting if Dayle slipped to our pick 20 (or whatever it is). Clubs are fairly cautious these days, so I am not convinced teams will be willing to use their first selection on him. Unless, of course, GWS/GC decide to. So we may be a chance.

If he's there, I'd love to see us take him. Given we're also likely to take a mid at pick 4, it would set us up very well for the outside game. Still obviously deficient in the forward half and will need another key back, but the holes would be starting to fill up.

                    All hypothetical of course.

What are you thinking on trading picks?

GWS need at least 3, I can't see them in by the 4th round. Some more informed than me say that this draft would suit pick trading, so, Maybe...

                        Out: Pick 4 and 40
                        In: Pick 10, 20, 37, 55, 73

                        GWS: 1, 4 and 40
                        Dogs: 10, 20, 23, (Cooney Comp? 24), 37, 55, 58 and 73.

Is this what you're thinking, or have I gone on a tangent?

We have 4 winnable(IMO anyway) games left this season, so pick 4 isn't a cert.

I reckon we are closer to 5 than 4.

Agree we have four winnable games.

Clubs above us also have a few winnable games.

                                Gold Coast - W/C , Melbourne, PP, St.Kilda, GWS (4 winnable)

Brisbane - St.Kilda, Richmond, GWS, WB, Geelong (4 winnable)

Adelaide - PP, North, WB, Melbourne, West Coast, (4 winnable)

West Coast - Gold Coast, Essendon, Geelong, Collingwood, Adelaide (2 winnable)

North - Geelong, Adelaide, Essendon, Hawthorn, Collingwood, (4 winnable)
