Not sure just think at 28 he would still have a fair bit to offer them. Imagine he'd get a go at another club.

Yeah fair enough. I wasn't arguing that he was any good.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Mick and Carlton have talked up Everitt since he's been out , but personally like to see more evidence .
You're right on size ( particularly in this era)

If we are interested in Casboult, would we not be interested in Majak Daw?

I wouldn't imagine so. Considering he is still a marginal AFL player at best, the only good game he's ever played was against us and adding in his his current off-field situation, I couldn't see us going there. Casboult isn't amazing but at least has some demonstrated consistent AFL impact and has a skill set that we lack. I'm not huge on the Casboult rumour but I wouldn't be against it for the right price.

Paul Roos says almost every player is on the trade table after another woeful season

                      Yep.

How is telling players that you think they are all worth less to him than what the market will offer supposed to create a sense of confidence?

Which I thought would be especially valuable given how mentally scarred we keep hearing they are (none of which is Roos' fault, naturally).

Tom McDonald and Jeremy Howe. They'd fit on the positive side of 'almost every player' though.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is trying to influence the AFL Commission to give Melbourne an extra draft pick by saying his players are crap virtually. They'll decide in October.

Realistically I'm still inclined to look at Watts. He might be a bit silver service for us but Macca and boys could slap a bit of mongrel into him...perhaps. Still think he has potential.

Watts is all in the head , it's near on impossible to change a persons nature.

No thanks to McDonald, we already have our own key back who can't use the footy playing reserves.
