KYLE Hardingham is likely to seek a trade from Essendon after a lack of senior opportunities this season.

Worth a look: Which unwanted players will find a new home?

This article reckons we would be interested in Ryan O'Keefe, Shaun McKernan & James Gwilt!

Something PG said today on his usual timeslot on 774 made me think we were.

I'd be happy to pick up Gwilt.

I can't see why we would consider O'Keefe or McKernan at all, but Gwilt - maybe. An upgrade on Young but he is 28.

I wouldn't. What does he offer? Undersized battler who uses the footy poorly and has big bags kicked on him. We'd get just as much value plucking one from the state league's who fits our age profile better, as GWS and Collingwood did with the Frost boys and Adelaide did with Kyle Hartigan. We'd get similar output for a guy half a decade younger.

What did he say - was it about Gwilt specifically or just a general comment?

They were talking about Gwilt and John Faine said something like, GWS are looking at him and PG said and so are a few others. Don't know why I have a gut feeling it was us. He doesn't fit the profile of a player we are after, but maybe he is a stop gap in the backline.

I imagine he plays a similar role to the one we want Zaine Cordy to play in time, may just be a 2-3 year stop-gap.

We did take Goodes as defensive cover

Speedy Blease exits Dees and hopes to find a new home.
SAM Blease and Melbourne have agreed to part ways, with the 23-year-old seeking opportunities elsewhere after playing just two senior games in 2014.

Blease played 33 matches and kicked 25 goals after being plucked as a 17-year-old with selection No.17 in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft.

Despite his inability to cement a game with Melbourne, the talented Blease is likely to attract interest with his pace and ability to run and carry the ball.

Demons football manager Josh Mahoney told AFL.com.au the club wished Blease all the best after six seasons with the club.

"When we met with Sam during his end-of-season exit interview, we both agreed that it hadn’t worked for him at the Melbourne Football Club and that we would try and assist to find him a new club during the trade period," Mahoney said.

Is he worth a look, we need pace but I don't know much about him.

Sam would be more than welcome with a late Young/Darley type pick.

Outside of that he can try the PSD

                            No.

Is touted as speedy because he can't kick under any pressure and makes everything look rushed. Also looks the same physically as he did when he was 17 (dare I say SHOCKING considering the club he got drafted by.)

Plus MELBOURNE don't want him. That should be enough of an indicator right there

Fair enough, I suppose I was going on the thought that Melbourne don't develop their players well.

Blease is a little like Tutt, quick runner but kicking and physicality is not to standard.

Melbourne are apparently sniffing around Tutty. How's Blease for Tutt?
