He's not the best distributor by foot but he's a strong athlete with some pace, and that puts him ahead of Talia/Roberts IMO. We need a couple of key defenders with some speed, as the above two and Roughead are very slow.

I see a role for him but at no more than a third round pick (which we may not have with Zaine). If we don't grab Lever/Marchbank/Goddard in the first round I'm sure we get a sliding key back prospect who uses the footy well with our second rounder. He'll be an honest footballer but not one I'd pay exorbitantly over the odds for, it's getting harder and harder to accommodate players who don't use the footy well in your back half (Frawley is a pretty good example this year, his turnovers have cost Melbourne big goals).

Don't think I can recall Morris ever turning it over......perhaps because he always kicks within his limitations.

Really? He's done it numerous times this year when free in decent amounts of space. It's been mentioned before in gameday threads. I'm more than happy to go through replays when I get home and pull out examples.
